Monday, Nov. 17: Quiz
Tuesday, Nov. 18: Classes will begin learning about the community. Students will learn how to tell where things are located around their communities as well as describe them.
Wednesday, Nov. 19: Student half day
Thursday, Nov. 20: Students will continue to learn in the community vocabulary.
Friday, Nov. 21: Students will begin learning the verb ir or "to go" in Spanish.
Monday, Nov. 24: Students will begin working on their barrio projects in school at the computer lab. Be sure to bring something to save your material.
Tuesday, Nov. 25: Another day at the lab, make sure you are prepared!

Monday, Dec. 1: Students will be working on their projects in class.

This week in Spanish class 11/10/08-11/14/08


Monday: The students will begin learning about the Spanish verbs ser and estar. Our classes will be learning how to conjugate both of these verbs, and when they are used in Spanish. Ask your children to sing the estar song for you!


Tuesday: We will continue learning about ser and estar in spanish. Today, we will focus more on the rules. Ask your child to tell you the acronyms for ser and estar and what each of them mean!


Wednesday: Today we will begin learning prepositions in Spanish, and how they are used with the verb estar!

Thursday: We will practice using the prepositions with estar some more.


Friday: Today we will review for Monday's quiz! Bring any questions you have with you to class so we can discuss them!

Tuesday: Off of school for election day!

Wednesday: Fiesta for period 3. All other periods will have a silent Spanish workday.

Thursday: We will begin learning how to conjugate er/ir verbs in Spanish. The verbs will specifically be related to the classroom.

Friday: We will continue with er/ir verb conjugations in Spanish!
