Essentially what you could consider a hybrid version of the Toyota Avensis, the newLexus HS 250h is not exactly a dedicated hybrid version by that definition but in the Lexus line-up it does come only with a hybrid powertrain, which is what Lexus means by a �dedicated hybrid vehicle�. It is powered by the 2.4 liter Atkinson cycle combustion engine and electric motor hybrid system from the Camry Hybrid. This is vehicle platform and powertrain sharing at it�s best, one that rivals the Volkswagen Group�s.
