Blade-Less Fan: Does It Really Work?

So how does a fan work that has no spinning blades? I have no idea! Dyson makes this really "cool" fan that uses Air Multiplier technology that draws in air and amplifies it. With no awkward blades or grill to get in the way, the Tower Fan is safe around kids and pets, and it’s easy to clean too. The push-button remote lets you quickly toggle through multiple speeds. The Tower Fan oscillates with a touch up to 360 degrees to cover a whole room. Dyson makes an assortment of Air Multiplier fans i.e. tabletop, pedestal and tower.

Easy to clean - no dust on the blades!

Safe- no worries about blades hurting kids or pets.

Really smart people make technology like this.

Overall I'm very impressed with this fan!! The Dyson fan is light-weight and the noise level is similar to a regular blade fan. Love that it comes with a magnetic remote-control.

What about the shape... are you a "fan" of the shape? I like the tall rectangular style shape because it doesn't take up as much floor space.  The one downside is the price - it's priced at approximately $300. If you have little kids and want a fan around, the price tag is nothing compared to little fingers, owies and emergency rooms.

Thank you to Dyson for this review opportunity and for providing product for testing and review purposes. The views expressed in this review are my own personal opinions.
