Surfing Party: Kids Style

As a gal who has tried surfing (got up once or twice : ) ),  I fell in love with this Surf's Up party created by Holly of Paisley Petal Events for her son. I'm sure this was a much anticipated party for her 8 year old son and friends. The surf boards were made especially for this party - love, love, love the surfboards. I'm really "stoked" on the color scheme! It's always fun to add a little surf lingo to a surf party or match lingo to any theme.

Drink station.

Really cool food ideas. Shark fin cupcakes are so simple yet such a fun idea!

Holly describes how they made the surfboards, "We cut 8 foot tall surfboards out of plywood with a jigsaw and then painted them fun stripes in the colors I had decided on for the party…orange, blue and green.  Most of the paint came from the ‘reject’ paint cart at Home Depot, so it was really cheap!  They took a little time to make, but I thought they turned out GREAT!"

For more details and pics, check out Surf's Up Boys Party by Holly. The wonderful thing about this party is... although created for a boy it is perfect for an adult or girls party or boys and girls together. It's difficult to come up with a theme that boys and girls love. This Surf's Up party is perfect!
